JDU leader throws meat-rice party in Munger, BJP says hundreds of dogs missing

Bihar BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha took a swipe at Janata Dal (United) President Lalan Singh after the latter organised a meat-rice party for his party workers in Munger, India Today reported.
Sinha said hundreds of dogs are missing from the city ever since the JD(U) President organised the feast.
Also, a brawl broke out at the party after the crowd became uncontrollable. Party workers even used sticks during the meat-rice feast organised by the JD(U) president.
“The matter is very serious. Many people have informed me that hundreds of dogs from the city have disappeared. Instead of meat and rice, the meat of thousands of animals was fed to the workers. This is a matter of investigation. And what disease will spread due to this, whether alcohol was served or not, this should be investigated,” said the BJP leader.
The BJP leader added, “Let’s get everyone checked. We will find out whether the people involved in the feast had consumed alcohol or not. The matter should be investigated.”
Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha raised questions on the mutton-rice feast and demanded an investigation into it.
After the allegations from BJP, JD(U) called Vijay Kumar Sinha “mentally bankrupt”.
Launching a scathing attack on the BJP leader, JD(U) spokesperson Abhishek Jha said that Vijay Kumar Sinha himself should disclose which animal’s meat he serves to people at his own feast.
