Though a Delhi-Doha IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at Pakistan’s Karachi airport to ensure medical assistance for a sick passenger onboard, the traveller was declared brought-dead upon arrival by the airport medical team, an airline official told news agency ANI.

According to sources, the Doha-bound flight took off from Delhi at 10.17 pm Sunday night, reported India Today.

The airline said IndiGo flight 6E-1736, operating from Delhi to Doha, was diverted to the Jinnah International Airport in Pakistan’s Karachi due to a medical emergency on board.
