A Delhi court yesterday granted Niraj Bishnoi, the accused in the ‘Bulli Bai’ app case, and Omkareshwar Thakur, the creator of the ‘Sulli Deals’ app, bail on humanitarian grounds.
The court explained that the accused are first-time offenders and that keeping them in prison would be detrimental to their overall wellbeing.
The accused were subjected to stringent conditions by the court, including not threatening witnesses or tampering with evidence.
The conditions include that the accused must not attempt to contact, influence, or induce any victim, among other things.

According to the order, the accused person would not tamper with evidence, provide his contact information to the investigation officer, keep his phone switched on, and provide his location to the investigation officer.
Furthermore, the accused would not leave the country, would appear in court on all scheduled dates, and would not commit a similar crime while on bail, according to the order.
