Deadly road mishap in Madhya Pradesh; 14 dead

Victims onboard the bus were returning from Telangana to their native place in Uttar Pradesh. Reasons behind mishap yet to be ascertained.

In a tragic road accident at least 14 persons lost their lives while more than 30 others were grievously injured when a bus collided with a trolley in the Suhagi mountain area of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh.

The bus which had scores of people aboard was headed from Telangana’s Hyderabad to Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur.

The accident occured at the National Highway 30 late Friday night.

As per reports, it seemed that the trolley truck had an accident with the truck in front of it and when the driver applied brakes, the bus behind it rammed into it.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the loss of lives and spoke to his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath over the phone.
