A picture of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha being attacked by a crow outside Parliament while he was on his phone has gone viral on social media.
The pictures show the AAP MP walking outside the parliament with a few papers in his hand and talking over the phone when a crow brushed past him.
The AAP MP quickly reacted and ducked down.
It didn’t take long for the BJP to take a jibe at the AAP MP with the famous Hindi phrase, “‘Jhooth bole kauwa kaate’.
Taking to Twitter, the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tweeted the photo and captioned it, ‘jhooth bole kauwa kaate’ (one should not speak lies or else a crow will peck on you).
“Till today, we only heard it. Today, we have seen the crow bite the liar,” the Delhi BJP further wrote in its caption.
The AAP MP, however, has a different take on the pictures. In a reply to the BJP, MP Raghav Chadha wrote, “Ramchandra has said that such Kalyug will come from Siya, the swan will eat the grains and the crow will eat the pearls. Till today only heard, today also saw.”
The pictures have also drawn numerous reactions from politicians and netizens.
Nagaland Minister and social media sensation Temjen Imna Along also shared the pictures and captioned them, “Now don’t say that BJP has sent crows.”
BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga also tweeted the photo and took a jab at him.
“My heart is very distressed by the news of the attack by a crow on Honorable MP Raghav Chadha ji. Hope you are in good health,” Bagga said.
