Special flight carrying 200 evacuated Indian students from Ukraine lands in Delhi

India’s evacuation efforts in war-torn Ukraine is still underway. Today morning a special flight arrived at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport with Indian students evacuated from Ukraine.

A total of three special flights are bringing in the students who had recently been evacuated from the war-torn areas of Ukraine such as the Sumy region.

Today morning one of those special flights landed in New Delhi with about 200 students.

The other two special flights are also expected to reach India today afternoon.

Meanwhile, students hailing from Assam were received by the staff of the Assam Bhawan.

Later in the day, they will be heading home towards Guwahati.

Upon arriving, the students recounted their experience back in war-torn Ukraine.
