Many new parents have a troublesome time deciding the name of their young children. This New York girl took up the task of a professional baby namer and makes a living by means of naming young children.

Taylor A Humphrey (33), from New York, has revealed that parents pay her as high as Rs 7.6 lakhs to name their young children. She is founder of ‘what’s in a Baby Name’ a boutique consultancy that gives the entirety from name lists to a full-service- baby naming concierge.

She named over 100 children in 2020, raking in more than $150,000 from rich parents.

Taylor began the trade in 2015. At that point, she was giving out names totally free. In 2018, she realized that she may flip the call for her naming products and services into a distinct segment trade.

The professional baby namer scans everything from film credits to street signs for inspiration. She also keeps a database of the names that are in sharp decline.

People don’t believe that Taylor names babies for a living. “Believe it or not, this is my full-time job,” she said in a video.
