Messi turns chef, whips up a chicken burger. Would you like to try?

Lionel Messi collaborated with the American Chain Hard Rock Cafe to create a special sandwich for their menu, inspired by one of his favourite foods ‘Milanese’

A surprise for Lionel Messi fans. The Argentina footballer turned into a Chef and created a new sandwich named after him, the ‘Messi Chicken Sandwich’.

Lionel Messi collaborated with the American Chain Hard Rock Cafe to create a special sandwich for their menu, inspired by one of his favourite foods ‘Milanese’, or ‘Milanesa’ which is a staple in Argentina.

The sandwich is now available at all Hard Rock Cafe outlets and hotels.

Messi said, “I can’t wait for my fans all over the world to get a taste of one of my childhood favourites that still makes me feel at home, wherever in the world I am.”

The special burger by Hard Rock Cafe is a Milanese-style chicken breast topped with melted provolone cheese, herbed aioli, fresh tomatoes, and arugula and enclosed in a toasted artisanal bun.

The tagline of the burger reads, “Made for you by Lionel Messi.”

Taking to Instagram, Lionel Messi wrote, “Another dream comes true! I am thrilled to introduce to you the new Messi Chicken Sandwich that I have created with Hard Rock Café, inspired by my favourite food: The Milanese! Don’t miss out.”
