World’s Richest Man Elon Musk who has taken over Twitter has fired it’s top Executives.
According to reports, among the top Twitter Executives who were sacked, include Chief Executive Parag Agarwal. Besides, the company’s Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal and its head of Legal Policy, Trust and Safety, Vijay Gadde have also been fired.
Musk accused the top executives of misleading him and providing little clarity over how he will achieve the lofty ambitions he has outlined for the social media platform.
The reports came hours before the court-appointed deadline for Musk to seal his on-again, off-again deal to purchase the social media network.
Musk’s 44 billion dollar acquisition of Twitter was full of twists and turns, as speculations prevailed on whether the World’s Richest Man will complete the deal.
It began on April 4, when Musk disclosed a 9.2% stake in the company, making him its largest shareholder.
