The long list of awards that ‘Naatu Naatu’ won so far

Indian Telegu language song “Naatu Naatu” from the hit film from SS Rajamouli ‘RRR’ composed by M. M. Keeravani, with lyrics by Chandrabose and, recorded by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava is one of the most popular songs nationally and globally with its energetic dance moves.
“Naatu Naatu” has been on a winning spree, starting from the Golden Globe to the Oscars making India proud in every international platform that matters.

Here is the long list of awards that ‘Naatu Naatu’ has bagged so far:
The song won the Academy Awards better known as the Oscars for Best Original Song on 12 March 2023.
“Naatu Naatu” bagged the Critics’ Choice Awards for the Best Song on 15 January 2023.
The song won the Runner-up for the Georgia Film Critics Association on 13 January
India’s first Golden Globe Award for the best original song was also achieved by “Naatu Naatu” on 10 January 2023

The song bagged the Best Original song award from Hollywood Critics Association on 24 February 2023.
The Houston Film Critics Society awarded the song the Best Original Song award on 18 February 2023.
The song was also able to bag the Original song award from the Online Film Critics Society on 23 January 2023.

A member of the popular South Korean band BTS’ Jungkook was also seen listening to the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ during live session. The video clip of Jungkook was shared by the official Instagram account of ‘RRR’. The post read, “JUNGKOOK. It’s amazing to know that you loved #NaatuNaatu so much. We are sending a ton of love to you, the #BTS team, and the whole of South Korea. #RRRMovie.”
The members of South Korean embassy in Delhi were seen following the trend of creating a dance video of the ‘Naatu Naatu’. Korean Ambassador Chang Jae-bok and Korean staff working in the embassy were seen grooving to the hit song in a video shared on the twiter handle of the Korean embassy India.
The movie RRR was also nominated for the category ‘best picture-non English’. However, the Telugu Blockbuster lost the best picture award in a foreign language to Santiago Mitre’s historical drama “Argentina, 1985”
