'Pasoori Nu', the remake of the iconic Pakistani song 'Pasoori', is finally out
The Bollywood remake of hit Coke Studio Pakistan song ‘Pasoori’ is finally out. Titled ‘Pasoori Nu’, the song was released on Monday, June 26, a day after the makers unveiled the teaser of the song. The original is sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill while the remake is crooned by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar.

The makers of Satyaprem Ki Katha released the remake of ‘Pasoori’ by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, titled ‘Pasoori Nu’. The recreated version is sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar. The music video features lead actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.
PASOORI NU SONG OUT!
On Monday, the makers shared the video of the song Pasoori Nu from Satyaprem Ki Katha on scoial media wrote, “Presenting the song Pasoori Nu from the movie Satyaprem Ki Katha. Relive the global Hit! Kartik Aaryan as Satyaprem and Kiara Advani as Kathaâ€æ”

The chorus of the song was kept the same as the original while the rest was reworked in Hindi as the original song is in Punjabi and Urdu. The music is by Rochak Kohli and Ali Sethi, while the lyrics are by Gurpreet Saini and Ali Sethi.
The remake of the song did not set right with a lot of fans. While a Twitter user said, “T-Series finished destroying all Indian songs. Now they are destroying Pakistani songs too (sic)”, another commented,” Kya zaroorat thi, bas itna bata do (what was the need just tell me) (sic)”
However, this isn’t all. There are people who are defending Arijit Singh and are liking the song. Comments like “Well done Arijit for making that terrible song better (sic)” and “Arijit Singh always does God level stuffs (sic)” have also been pouring in.
So far, makers have released four songs from the film, titled ‘Naseeb Se’, ‘Aaj Ke Baad’, ‘Gujju Pataka’ and ‘Sun Sajini’. ‘Pasoori Nu’ was the fifth song released from the film’s soundtrack and features the voices of Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar.
‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is slated for a theatrical release on June 29, 2023.
