Watch: Kangana Ranaut slapped by CISF jawan at Chandigarh airport

An inquiry committee comprising senior CISF officers has been set up to conduct a further investigation.

Kangana Ranaut, the recently elected Lok Sabha MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh has been reportedly slapped by a CISF personnel at the Chandigarh Airport today.

Kangana Ranaut was travelling to New Delhi from Mohali International Airport on Vistara’s UK707 flight for the new Cabinet swearing-in ceremony which is scheduled for June 9, 2024.

According to reports, after a security check, when the actor-turned-politician was boarding the flight, she allegedly gave a bad statement about women in Punjab during the farmer’s agitation against three farm laws that “women of the state participated in the farmer’s agitation for money.”

LCT Kulwinder Kaur, CISF unit Chandigarh airport got angry and slapped her.

Kangana Ranaut has lodged a complaint with the airport force and said that she will be filing a complaint to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in Delhi too.
