Bollywood actor Kajol who is known for her bubbly nature and outspoken behaviour has garnered controversy over her comment about Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan box office collection.
Kajol who has been out promoting her recent web series ‘The Trial’ was asked in a recent interview with a national media outlet to share what she wants to ask Shah Rukh Khan.
After thinking for a while, Kajol responded with a giggle and said, “How much did Pathaan really make?” and ended up with laughter. The clip of Kajol’s comment has gone viral on social media.
Perhaps, she was joking about her friend (SRK), but it sparked controversy. While a few came in support of Shah Rukh Khan and dissed Kajol, a few stood by the actress.
Some internet users sympathised with Kajol’s confusion, pointing out the discrepancy between a movie’s anticipated box office performance and its actual box office performance, while, others suggested Kajol to contact Aditya Chopra, whose production company, Yash Raj Films, made the movie “Pathaan,” to find out the box office figures.
One user shared the clip and wrote, “#Kajol tried pull hilarious statement but people misunderstood her trying to spread farzi negativity against King Khan #SRK #Pathaan.”
Another one mentioned, “Sharhuk sir say fatti hai sabki , or sharhuk sir kay bina kutta vi na pucha kajol ko.”
