Actor Noor Malabika Das from Assam found dead in Mumbai flat

Probe into the actor's death is underway, but preliminary investigations indicate that it is a case of suicide.

Hailing from Assam, actor Noor Malabika Das, was found dead in her apartment in Mumbai today. 32-year old Malabika’s body was recovered after her neighbours complained about foul smell emanating from the actor’s home.

Cops, after reaching the spot, broke open the door and found the 32-year-old actor’s body in a decomposed state.

As per reports, cops suspect that it is a case of suicide. However, an official response about the reasons for the actor’s death is yet to made.

Reports said that the investigating team has collected samples, including medicines and mobile phones, from Malabika’s home as part of the probe. But no suicide note was recovered from her flat.

It has been learnt that an accidental death report (ADR) has been filed and an autopsy has also been conducted.

Before becoming an actor, she worked as an air hostess with Qatar Airways.

Malabika was seen in Kajol-starrer Disney Plus Hotstar series ‘The Trial’. She also acted in a few films and web series, including ‘Siskiyaan’, ‘Walkaman’, ‘Teekhi Chatni’, ‘Jaghanya Upaya’, ‘Charamsukh’, ‘Dekhi Andekhi’, and ‘Backrod Hustale’.
