Tripura Police recovers gun from forest

The Teliamura police recovered a gun from a forest in the Brahmachhara Baluchhara area under the Teliamura police station in Tripura on Sunday.
As per reports, the Teliamura police received information about a local made gun lying deep inside the forest of the Brahmachhara Baluchhara area.
Following this, the police went to the area and recovered the gun.
Teliamura Police official, Nandan Vaidya informed that the police had initially believed that the illegal poachers had hidden the country made gun in the forest for the purpose of hunting animals.
So far, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is underway.
