Tripura : Kin kills 3 family members over land dispute, arrested

In a tragic incident, three members of a family were killed in a fatal clash over a land dispute in Dabbari area of Tripura’s Dhalai district on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Rajini Das, Bilasi Das, and Pritus Das, who was a BJP worker.
The accused have been identified as Bikash Das and Dhirendra Das who along with their relatives allegedly attacked the victim’s family and killed them.
Following the incident, the victims were rushed to the Kulai District hospital for medical attention. However, Rajni Das died on her way to JB Hospital while the other victims died at the hospital on Friday night.
The bodies were brought home from GB Pant Hospital on Friday afternoon. As Pritus Das was a BJP worker, Union Minister Pratima Bhumik along with Ambasa MLA Parimal Devvarma visited the victim’s family and paid homage to the deceased.
Meanwhile, Kachu-chhara police station officer in charge Vidya Debabarma said a case has already been registered against 11 accused at the police station and 3 accused have been arrested so far.
Moreover, four other accused are admitted to a hospital and will be arrested soon after their discharge.
