The Tipra Motha took the demand for Greater Tipraland to Tripura’s capital Agartala where a mega rally was held today.

Addressing the massive gathering, Tipra Motha chief and Royal Scion Pradyot Debbarma said that the demand for greater Tipraland had nothing to do with snatching anyone’s rights but securing the rights of indigenous people under the ambit of the constitution.

Debbarma added that the indigenous people will no longer accept the “lollipop” of ministerial berths and positions but strive till the last breath for their dream of Greater Tipraland.

An emotional Tipra Motha chief also stated that while he was insulted on multiple occasions, first by the Congress and others later and even called an outsider and mafia, any insult to the Tiprasa will not be tolerated.

Debbarma also took a dig at the alleged VIP culture in Congress. He further added that their intention was not to fuel riots but secure the rights of the indigenous people within the ambit of the constitution.
