Tripura CM launches Start-Up weekly 2022

He further said that the Start-Ups can create various employment opportunities in Tripura as well as throughout India.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha launched the Tripura Start-Up week 2022 yesterday.
Speaking exclusively to North East Live about the event, CM Saha expressed that before attending the program and interacting with the local youths who demonstrated their Startup activities in various stalls, he was unaware that such huge activities are going on in the State.
He further said that the Start-Ups can create various employment opportunities in Tripura as well as throughout India.
CM Saha also assured that the government will give all the possible support to the Start-Ups as this can motivate youths and can help in creating employment opportunities.
It is worth mentioning that so far, 13 Startups have been registered with Tripura Startup Council and an amount of Rs 45.81 lakhs has been provided for infrastructure support, assistance in patent filing of concepts, etc.
Meanwhile, during the program, CM Saha also launched the Tripura Venture Capital Fund and Tripura IT/ITeS Policy 2022 and distributed cash awards among winners of the New Generation Innovation Network Scheme within the start-up ecosystem.
