Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb visited the CM Helpline Call Centre at Indranagar in Agartala on Wednesday in order to inspect its functioning. The Centre aims at direct interaction

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb visited the CM Helpline Call Centre at Indranagar in Agartala on Wednesday in order to inspect its functioning.

The Centre aims at direct interaction with the public to resolve their grievances at the earliest.

During his visit, Deb not only interacted with the staff of the Centre but also took a few calls and expressed satisfaction over the centre’s performance.

The centre, which was opened last year with the intention of resolving public issues, has attended over 9400 calls so far.

Deb also visited the police run emergency response support system, which is in the same building, and enquired about its functioning and performance.
