Tripura BJP MLA Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl resigns from party

Ahead of the Assembly elections in Tripura, the ruling BJP suffered a jolt with another party MLA stepping down.

Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl, MLA from the Karmachhara constituency, tendered his resignation to the Tripura Assembly Secretary BP Karmakar today. As per sources, Hrangkhawl is likely to join the Congress.
