Tripura BJP gears for Lok Sabha polls: CM Saha meets HM Shah, JP Nadda

The Tripura CM had back to back meetings with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda
A few months into the impending Lok Sabha elections, the BJP in Tripura has set its eyes to retain both the parliamentary seats in the state.
To make sure that everything goes right, Tripura CM Manik Saha himself is leading from the front and is in the national capital to discuss about the party’s poll preparedness.
The Tripura CM today held a detailed discussion with the BJP leadership including party president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the party’s status in the run up to the elections.
CM Manik Saha first met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed at length as to how the party is preparing itself to face the elections. The Tripura CM shared a post on X and informed about his meeting with the Union Home Minister. The development agenda also found place in the meeting.
CM Saha’s post read, “Happy to meet Hon’ble Union Minister of @HMOIndia & @MinOfCooperatn Shri @AmitShah Ji at New Parliament Building, New Delhi. We discussed the developmental initiatives of #Tripura & also discussed about the upcoming #LokSabhaElection2024 in detail.
Besides, CM Manik Saha also met BJP national president JP Nadda and threadbare discussions about the party’s strategy for the polls.
In another post, CM Saha stated, “Glad to meet Hon’ble National President of @BJP4India Shri @JPNadda Ji at New Parliament Building, New Delhi.
We discussed the upcoming #LokSabhaElections2024 & the organizational issues of the state. Tripura is committed to bloom 2 lotuses again for #ModiAgainIn2024.”
On February 3, CM Saha launched the BJP’s Sampark Abhiyan in view of the parliamentary elections likely to be held as early as April. The Tripura CM addressed the party workers of Sadar (urban) district at the party headquarter.
CM Saha in a post said, “In view of the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, today addressed the Karyakartas & office bearers of Sadar (urban) district during a workshop organized at @BJP4Tripura state office.
The workshop has been organised to mark Samapark Abhiyan with the Women SHGs & NGOs as a part of the “Shakti Vandhan” programme.”
The ruling BJP in Tripura announced a 73-member state executive committee months ahead of the LS polls.
All senior leaders of the party in the state, including chief minister Manik Saha, Rajya Sabha MP Bilab Kumar Deb, Union MoS for social empowerment and social justice Pratima Bhoumik and former deputy CM Jishnu Dev Varma, found a place in the committee announced on Thursday night.
