Tragic: Bus carrying job aspirants from Tripura meets with accident in Assam, 1 dead

As per reports, the bus was carrying candidates for the recruitment exam of Tripura State Cooperative Bank (TSCB) in different centres of Assam
In a tragic incident, a bus carrying job aspirants from Tripura to Assam met with an accident killing one of the candidates and injuring several others.
The bus that was travelling from Agartala to Guwahati, turned turtle at Dittokcherra in Assam’s Dima Hasao district. The road mishap occurred past midnight on the intervening night of May 1-2.
The bus reportedly hit a road divider and skidded off a drain before turning turtle. The passengers of the bus alleged that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol.
The deceased has been identified as Deepraj Debbarma, 32 years, hailing from Kamalpur in Tripura’s Dhalai district.
As per reports, the bus was carrying 36 candidates for the recruitment exam of Tripura State Cooperative Bank (TSCB) to be held in different centres of Assam from Friday. The deceased too was a job aspirant.
