Meanwhile, the TIPRA Motha chief has stated that he has no problem holding talks with the BJP within the ambit of the constitution, and if the saffron party agrees to the demand for a greater Tipraland. However, Pradyot Debbarma maintained that the question of alliance with the BJP does not arise if there is no scope for the fulfillment of the demands.

Further, Pradyot Debbarma informed that many members from the BJP and IPFT would be joining the TIPRA Motha in the coming days, adding that about 1500 new members had joined the party on Saturday.

Meanwhile, responding to Patal Kanya Jamatia joining the BJP, the royal scion said that it was Jamatia’s prerogative to join whichever party she would like to join. He added that it was not necessary for Patal Kumar Jamatia to believe in the ideology of a greater Tipraland.
