Debbarma’s clarification comes after rivals began targetting him over a remark on Northeast Live where Debbarma visibly indicated that if the government provides 20 thousand jobs to the indigenous Tiprasa people he is ready to withdraw the demand for Greater Tipraland. But in the same breath Pradyot asked whether the government would ever do this?
The statement however, triggered widespread reaction on social media with Debbarma stating that the CPM was spreading propaganda and msileading the people on the issue.
