No militants were involved in the protest: ITLF

The Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum or the ITLF has contradicted Manipur Chief Minister, Biren Singh’s statement that militant factions were provoking a certain section of people to create a law and order situation in regards to the protest witnessed in the hill districts on Friday. Speaking to Northeast Live ITLF Secretary Muan Tombing said the protest was called by the Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum and no militant factions were involved as stated by the Chief Minister.
