2 NLFT (BM) Cadres Surrender in Tripura

In a big win against insurgency, 2 active cadres of National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT (BM) surrendered before Sushant Nath, BSF IG Tripura Frontier at Salbagan headquarters in Tripura today.

The 2 surrendered rebels are Khitish Debbarma and Swapan Debbarma. While Khitish Debbarma was an active cadre for the outfit since 2019, Swapan Debbarma reportedly joined the NLFT (BM) in 2020.

It may be mentioned that till date a total of 31 insurgents of the NLFT have surrendered before security forces, thus indicating their eagerness to shun the path of violence.
