TIPRA Motha chief and royal scion Pradyot Deb Barma has given a clarion call to the ruling BJP’s ally IPFT to contest the ensuing assembly election together for the all round development of the indigenous people of the state.
In a FB message Pradyot said that TIPRA, IPFT and all other like minded parties can fight the upcoming assembly polls together under a common symbol for the greater cause of the tribals.
Debbarma’s big appeal comes barely a week after IPFT President and senior cabinet minister Narendra Chandra Debbarma’s demise.
Debbarma said that there is no difference between the demands of Tipra MOtha and IPFT and hence they should unite.
