Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker, Biswabandhu Sen, retreated, saying he has not yet received any written complaint against Nath and based on reports published in the media or social media posts,

As pressure mounts from the opposition demanding stern action against the ruling BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath, who was videotaped allegedly watching porn video on his smartphone during the ongoing session of the house, Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker, Biswabandhu Sen, retreated, saying he has not yet received any written complaint against Nath and based on reports published in the media or social media posts, he cannot take any step.

It can be noted that all opposition parties in Tripura, including the TIPRA Motha, CPIM, and Congress, have demanded that the Speaker or Leader of the House set an example by sacking the alleged MLA for his immoral actions.
