Ahmed Palak said, both Bangladesh and India have huge scope for business and development if the two countries work together in the IT sector.
Speaking to Northeast Live, during the sidelines of the event, the Minister said, if both countries can open up the business opportunities it will benefit both countries, especially Tripura as the proximity with Chittagong Port is just 70 km away.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak also added that the present relationship between Bangladesh and India under the leadership of respective Prime Ministers Sheikh Hasina and Narendra Modi is at an all-time high.
Meanwhile, Tripura Chief Minister Bipalb Kumar Deb emphasized on improved multimodal connectivity between Tripura and Bangladesh besides the scope and advantage of doing business and investment in the state which is surrounded on three sides by Bangladesh.
He viewed IT as the lone business sector between nations where borders cannot interfere. He said both India and Bangladesh should work for improving business and bringing more transparency and speedy services towards serving the people.
