Tripura: 2 involved in Agartala shootout arrested

Both, Prabhakar Ghosh and Santosh Das were arrested on the basis of CCTV footage and eyewtiness accounts. 2 injured undergoing treatment.
The Tripura Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the shootout incident outside a restaurant that left wo men injured. Both, Prabhakar Ghosh and Santosh Das were arrested on the basis of CCTV footage and eyewtiness accounts.
Police in the meantime has sought the custody of the two accused persons for a period of five days. The two vehicles used in the attack were seized during a police raid that was carried in the wee hours today.
As per reports, assailants opened fire from small weapons after some local youths came out from the restaurant located on the Airport road at Natunnagar.
Two of them sustained critical injuries and were soon hospitalised. Reportedly, the victims and the accused persons are residents of Natunnagar and the surrouding areas under the MBB Airport Police Station.
Meawhile, police is conducting a manhunt to nab the other members of the gang who were involve in the shootout.
