38th Tripura Annual Flower and Foilage Show-cum-Competition held in Agartala

110 participants took part in the exhibition, displaying an impressive array of over 470 flower varieties
In a vibrant spectacle of colour and beauty, the 38th Tripura Annual Flower and Foliage Show-cum-Competition 2024, commenced with grandeur at Rabindra Kannan in Agartala.
Organised by the Horticultural Society of Tripura, the exhibition was inaugurated by Tourism, Transport and Food Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, setting the stage for a mesmerizing display of floral diversity.
Minister Chowdhury, addressing the gathered audience, expressed the remarkable shift in Tripura’s floral landscape.
He highlighted the transition from importing flowers to becoming self-sufficient, underlining the positive impact on farmers’ income.
The picturesque park came alive with the enthusiastic participation of flower lovers, farmers, and various contestants who submitted their meticulously nurtured flower pots, showcasing a myriad of flower varieties.
110 participants took part in the exhibition, displaying an impressive array of over 470 flower varieties, including dahlia, gerbera, marigold, chrysanthemum, orchid, anthodium, and more.
