2 Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested in Tripura

They were arrested at the Agartala Railway Station on Thursday. They hail from Chattogram, and Dhaka.
Continuing its crackdown on border infiltration in Tripura, the Agartala Government Railway Police arrested two Bangladeshi nationals, including a woman, for entering Tripura without valid documents.
They were arrested at the Agartala Railway Station on Thursday. They hail from Chattogram, and Dhaka.
The arrests were made during a joint operation conducted by the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), Border Security Force (BSF), and other allied agencies.
Initial investigations suggest that the duo were planning to travel to Kolkata by train.
In a separate operation, the Agartala GRP apprehended a drug peddler from Madhya Dukli with a substantial consignment of cannabis during a late-night raid at Agartala Railway Station.
While another drug peddler was arrested from Ranirbazar the same day.
