Sikkim: SDF spokesperson injured in violence with ruling SKM
After the incident of pistol firing at Soreng Sikkim police came into action and conducted a ‘nakabandi’ at various places.
An incident of political violence has been reported in Sikkim which took place between members of the ruling Sikkim Kraintikari Morcha and the Sikkim Democratic Front.
Reportedly, SDF spokesperson Arun Limboo has been injured in the incident.
As per reports, the clash took place in Soreng where a meeting was held by SDF and SKM workers tried to disrupt the same.
In a viral video from the incident, gunshots can be heard in the background.
After the incident of pistol firing at Soreng Sikkim police came into action and conducted a ‘nakabandi’ at various places.
Speaking with Northeast Live, SP Soreng Jaya Pandian said that a case has been registered against SDF leader Avinash Yakha under arms Act and that the police is tracing Yakha.
