Sikkim MLA raises Pakyong airport issue

BJP MLA of Gnathang-Machong of Sikkim, D T Lepcha on Tuesday demanded reopening of the Pakyong Airport.
The MLA raised the issue with Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang and said that the CM should take steps regarding the same. Speaking to Northeast Live, D T Lepcha echoed the misery people have to go through and said due to discontinuation of flights between Guwahati and Bagdogra from the Pakyong airport, people of Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong are facing a lot of travel issues.
