Sikkim govt to regularize 25000 temporary jobs

More than 15,000 job appointments will also be distributed to the unemployed youths by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang.
The SKM government has stepped up its polls preparations ahead of the upcoming Legislative Assemble Elections.
Speaking to North East Live, MP Indra Hang Subba informed that the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) government will distribute 25,000 regular orders to temporary employees who have completed 4 years of service during the ‘Yuva Bhorosa Sammelan’ at Rangpo Ground tomorrow.
More than 15,000 job appointments will also be distributed to the unemployed youths by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang.
Reacting to opposition’s claim of insufficient budget for Salary, Subba slammed the opposition of not doing anything the last 25 years. He added that the Public have faith in the Prem singh Tamang led government.
He also claimed SKM will win 32 out of 32 seats in this coming Election and we are fully prepared for that.
Earlier this month, the state cabinet had approved the regularisation of government employees and the restoration of the old pension scheme.
The CM also announced that Rs 48 lakh will be spent on the construction of homestays, which will create employment opportunities and boost tourism in the state.
Tamang inaugurated a fire station in the Soreng district. The building at Singling has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5.5 crore.
The building has residential quarters and restrooms, among others.
