Amid the devastating situation in Sikkim, particularly north and south Sikkim, due to cloud burst over Lhonak Lake in North Sikkim resulting in flash flood in the Teesta River in Lachen valley early Wednesday morning, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang held an emergency meeting and directed emergency services to reach the affected areas immediately.

Early this morning, the Chief Minister visited the flood-hit site at Singtam, took stock of the situation, and also interacted with the locals.
