Sikkim CM reviews progress of road projects in the state

Sikkim CM PS Tamang took stock of the progress of road and highway projects at a meeting in Gangtok. The meeting was attended by NHIDCL officials and other stakeholders.

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang stressed the importance of coordination between the Centre and State agencies for fast-tracking the implementation of infrastructure projects in the State and instructed the officials to get the work back on track.

Issues of land acquisition, proposed projects, ownership disputes and arbitration, and possible financial interventions were discussed in detail in the review meeting attended by officials of NHIDCL and other stakeholders in Gangtok.
