Sikkim CM launches Online Permit System for RAP, PAP

The restricted and protected areas within Sikkim require a permit to be visited which is being issued by the Check Post branch of Sikkim Police.

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Monday launched the Online permit system for Restricted Area Permit (RAP) and Protected Area Permit (PAP).

Keeping in mind the importance of digital convenience the online passes shall be issued from the Check Post HQ at the 3rd mile on JN road.

The passes shall have Quick Response Codes, also known as QR codes, which can be read either on a mobile phone or on a QR barcode reader.

The passes for North Sikkim shall be checked at Toong Check Post while for East Sikkim it shall be checked at 3rd Mile.
