Prez Murmu on a 2-day visit to Sikkim

President Murmu was accorded a warm reception by Guv Ganga Prasad, CM Prem Singh Tamang, Speaker Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Arun Upreti.

President Droupadi Murmu has arrived in Sikkim on a 2-day visit to the Himalayan state. The President and the visiting entourage reached the Army Helipad in Libing by Indian Airforce Aircraft Mi-17, this afternoon.

President Murmu was accorded a warm reception by Governor Ganga Prasad, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, Speaker Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Arun Upreti, Senior Cabinet Minister Kunga Nima Lepcha among others.

A guard of honour was offered to the President on her first visit to Sikkim.

Prez Murmu will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various State and Central projects during her 2-day visit.
