In a tremendous testament to the endless journey of education, Sikkim’s Anil Kumar Yadav has scripted his name in history by achieving an astounding 51 degrees and diplomas, and PhD in various subjects.
His achievements showcase his belief that education is a perpetual pursuit, not confined by age or time.
Yadav has beautifully embodied the proverb, “There is no definitive end to education – it is a continuous journey that lasts one’s entire lifetime,” by achieving an extraordinary milestone in academic excellence.
With an impressive tally of 51 degrees and diplomas, Yadav has solidified his status as a lifelong learner and an inspiration to many.
Yadav recently added to his impressive academic portfolio with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Delhi (DU), achieving an impressive 8.688 CGPA in the May-June 2024 examinations. This latest degree brings his total count of Master’s degrees to 35.
His educational journey spans 25 universities across 19 Indian states and union territories, containing a Ph.D. in Management, 3 undergraduate degrees, 35 master’s degrees, 8 postgraduate diplomas, one postgraduate certificate, one advanced diploma, and one CFA from his education.
Renowned institutions where he has pursued his studies include the University of North Bengal, Jadavpur University, University of Gauhati, ICFAI University, and many others.
His dedication to learning has earned him a place in the ‘Limca Book of Records’ for the “Maximum Number of PG Degrees from Most Number of Universities,” a record he has been recognized for in 2016, 2020-2022, and 2023 editions.
A proud alumnus of St. Xavier’s School, Pakyong, and NBB Government College, Tadong, Dr. Yadav’s journey highlights his belief in the words of educational philosopher John Dewey: “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.”
