Killing of a Stray Dog Sparks Anger in Gangtok, Peaceful Rally Held in City

Condemning the recent cases of animal abuse, especially the killing of a stray dog on Kazi Road in Gangtok, Sikkim, on July 19, a rally was held in the city today.

The rally was aimed at advocating animal welfare and raise awareness about the importance of compassionate treatment for animals.

It began at Zero Point and proceeded to MG Marg.

The rally conveyed messages about the significance of non-violence and highlighted issues related to street animals.

The event featured informative speeches, interactive sessions, and opportunities to connect with others passionate about animal rights.

Stray animals face a variety of challenges, including health problems, traffic hazards, and severe weather conditions.
