Sikkim: Cricketers Purni Maya, Pranita Chettri selected to play in Senior women’s T-20 Inter Zonal Tournament.
Purni Maya Gurung and Pranita Chettri, two promising women cricketers from Sikkim have been selected to play for the Team Northeast in the Senior women’s T-20 Inter Zonal Tournament.
The 9-day cricket tournament is being conducted by the BCCI from November 8.
The north eastern squad consists of players from all 6 states namely Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
Both Purni Maya Gurung and Pranita Chettri have also attended Senior women’s camp 2022 conducted this year by the National Cricket Academy (NCA) at Kolkata.
