2024 election: Sikkim BJP leadership meets Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda

Inputs suggest that the meeting lasted for hours till late last night which primarily focused on the party's preparedness for the election.
The Sikkim BJP is gearing up for the ensuing Assembly election in the state as party leaders are in a huddle with the central leadership to chalk out the party’s strategy.
A delegation of Sikkim BJP led by president DR Thapa, BJP Legislature Party leader in Sikkim NK Subba and BJP Sikkim incharge Dilip Jaiswal met Union Home Minister Amit Shah as well as BJP national president JP Nadda.
Inputs suggest that the meeting lasted for hours till late last night.
The Sikkim BJP in a post on social media said, “Sikkim BJP President Shri DR Thapa Shri Narendra Kumar Subba BJP Legislative Party Leader and BJP Sikkim Incharge Dr Dilip Jaiswal had a crucial meeting with Hon’ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and BJP National President Shri J.P.Nadda in New Delhi yesterday.
The meeting thoroughly reviewed the political strategies and preparations in view of forthcoming Elections in the state of Sikkim.”

On March 10 also, Sikkim BJP president DR Thapa had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
In a post on X, DR Thapa had stated, “I met with Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji in #Delhi to discuss political matters and seek guidance.”
It may be mentioned that the BJP at present has 11 MLAs in the 32-member Sikkim Legislative Assembly. The saffron party is also in alliance with the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha.
