In a tragic incident, two persons have been seriously injured after a fire broke out at a petrol depot at Bojoghari in Gangtok last night.

The fire broke out at around 11 pm Saturday.

As per inputs, fire tenders were rushed to the spot and managed to douse the fire.

Meanwhile, the injured duo have been rushed to STNM hospital for treatment.

The condition of the injured duo is reportedly serious.

The injured persons have been identified as Tapan Chettri aged about 30 year and Rabin Tamang aged about 30 years

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

An investigation into the matter is underway. More details are awaited.
