Renowned literary figure and Former Working President of Sikkim Republican Party, Chakrapani Bhattarai from Rumtek-Martam alongwith retired Joint Director Ishwar Singh Bista, retired teacher and district president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad BS Gautam, retired sub-inspector HB Pradhan, Retired Senior Accountant DP Puspa Sharma (President Chyangrey Dhara Youth Society), Social Worker Navin Kumar Bishwakarma, Social Worker Hari Basnet, Sabin Basnet and Social Worker Bal Bahadur Chauhan from Rhenock joined Bharatiya Janata Party today following a meeting at the residence of State President DR Thapa.
The new joining members expressed that Bharatiya Janata Party is now the only alternative to the people of Sikkim to ensure the restoration of the lost Sikkimese rights and identity, economic upliftment and holistic development of the state. They also added that Bharatiya Janata Party is running the government in the nation as well as various states on the basic principle of good governance and development, is now becoming the main choice of the people in Sikkim as well.
Later, state President DR Thapa called upon all the new members to work for the welfare of Sikkim and its people towards building a better tomorrow.
