Top NSCN-IM leader Thuingaleng Muivah was today airlifted from his base at Camp Hebron to a hospital in Dimapur for a medical check-up.

Informed sources said that Muivah was examined at the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research hospital in Dimapur and his condition is stable.

However, it is not immediately known whether the NSCN-IM general secretary is back in Camp Hebron or is admitted to the hospital.

Further details on his condition are awaited.
