NNPGs question Th Muivah’s integrity on sovereignty & integration of Naga areas

The Naga National political groups, or the NNPGs, have questioned the integrity of NSCN-IM general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah when it comes to the issue of sovereignty and integration of Naga

The Naga National political groups, or the NNPGs, have questioned the integrity of NSCN-IM general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah when it comes to the issue of sovereignty and integration of Naga areas.

In an explosive statement, the NNPGs alleged that the top NSCN-IM leader in the FNR meet held on February 29, 2012, had clearly defined his position and maintained that sovereignty was not possible at that stage and Naga integration was out of the question. The NNPGs added that the NSCN-IM, thus, had no right to talk about things like sovereingty and Naga integration.

If that was not enough, the NNPGs mentioned that the Nagas stationed in NSCN-IM HQ Camp Hebron were mostly guests from Manipur.

The NNPGs also took strong exception to the NSCN-IM’s statement released on April 6th, wherein the outfit allegedly implied that a solution with NNPGs would invite another era of bloodshed in Nagaland.

The NNPGs stated that the Naga people have partnered with the Working Committee of the NNPGs in the talks and are ready to usher in an honourable and acceptable solution. There will never be another era of bloodshed, the NNPGs stated.

In a big statement, the NNPGs indicated that the NSCN-IM fears that with the arrival of the Naga solution, its embezzlement of Nagaland’s wealth will end.
