In a significant milestone for higher education in Nagaland, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the British High Commission in India (@UKinIndia) to reserve five annual slots under the prestigious Chevening Scholarships and Fellowships programme.
The initiative will enable five students from Nagaland to pursue fully funded one-year master’s degrees at any UK university of their choice, providing a transformative opportunity for academic and personal growth.
Expressing gratitude, Chief Minister Rio said, “This is an incredible opportunity for our students. We are deeply thankful to @UKinIndia for making this possible and for strengthening ties between Nagaland and the United Kingdom.”
