Naga Issue: All 60-MLAs Will Step Down as Soon as Solution is Found, says CM Rio

Naga issue: Speculations still prevail over a solution. Developments expected soon as NSCN-IM leadership is camping in Delhi.
All eyes are set on the developments pertaining to the Naga issue. Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today said that all the 60-members of the state legislative assembly are prepared to resign as and when a solution is found to the decades long political issue.
Rio said an alternative arrangement will be made for an interim period if a solution is reached at. Chief Minister Rio said that his government is expecting a solution soon, particularly when the Naga leadership including the NSCN-IM top brass are camping in Delhi, and are waiting to meet the central leadership including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In fact, the Nagaland Chief Minister said that the state will face elections as per democracy if all the 60 legislators resign to pave way for an alternate arrangement, after a solution is found.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio maintained that negotiations are going on and is eagerly awaiting an outcome.
