5 Nagaland districts to suffer power outage. Check details here

The districts will witness power cuts as the Power department will be carrying out vegetation clearance along 132kV and 66kV Transmission Lines under Transmission Division Mokokchung

Five districts of Nagaland–Mokokchung, Zunheboto, Tuensang, Longleng, and Mon will face power cuts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in a phased manner (one district after another) from April 10 to May 15 due to the vegetation clearance that the Power Department would carry out along 132kV and 66kV Transmission Lines under Transmission Division, Mokokchung.

Executive engineer Er. Hekaito Assumi said in a statement that this exercise was necessary to ensure a steady supply of electricity and prevent unneeded supply interruptions.

Here is the complete schedule for the power outage:
As per the schedule, areas under 66kV Tuli-N/Mora, 66kV N/Mora-Tizit, 66kV Tizit-Mon Transmission Line (Tuli sub-division, Longleng & Mon districts) will experience power outages from April 10 to 15.

132kV Mokokchung-Doyang transmission Line will experience power outages from April 17 to 21.

66kV Mokokchung- Zunheboto transmission line (Zunheboto district) will witness power shutdown from April 24-29.

66kV Mokokchung-Tuensang transmission line (Tuensang district) will witness power cut from May 1-16 and 132kV Mokokchung-Mariani transmission line from May 8-15.
